I think they’ve made more than that but it would be nice to know how many since NG needs 7. Can’t wait to see DC take off on the next Vulcan.
AFA raptor 4 is concerned it wouldn’t surprise me if those didn’t come into use until after they can catch the beasts. I’d bet there’s a substantial amount of 3D printing involved to incorporate the plumbing they’ve mentioned.

It’s a big ship though I have to wonder how well leadership perceives the current waters they navigate.
Edit- it’s not that I don’t think they can get something built, it’s just that they seem so ponderous and any little thing they claim is a minor issue takes soooo long to resolve and get back on track while in the public sector their decisions seem to occupy a grey area between questionable and downright criminal. It must be a frustrating place to work.

Given the low atmospheric pressure Mars and Luna are places where Spin launch might actually work. Ground level on Mars is about the same as 100,000ft on Earth so Mach 5 at launch isn’t such a silly notion as it is here. Getting the parts there seems problematic though. Be nice to have a fully automated Starship propellant production, storage & transfer vehicle. Eliminating return fuel from Earth launch payload would be huge.

I think they just clean them since rp1 causes so much coking. I still think a smaller Raptor (chicken hawk?) would find use, especially if remote propellant production becomes a thing. One size usually doesn’t fit all.

I guess maybe Kestrel might be more appropriate as a diminutive raptor.
