Couldnt find the pizza cutter thread but here’s the new shoes-255/85/16s, stock suspension.

Hit 55 on the way home, no noticeable noise increase.

I won’t know the MPG hit for a few days.

    Cheers-

Nice! Looks pretty good. I can’t get over the weight increase compared to the old model.

Do what I did, don’t look for that info!!!

Seriously, I saw the number but went for them anyway. I’ll see how they do on a trail over the weekend- they gotta do better than the tires that came on it.

Yeah true, the AT4 has the 3ply duraspec sidewall. I was looking at maybe trying these when my Toyo Open Countrys are done, but man, it would be 10.5lbs + per tire for the same size E rated tire!

I got the 17" AT4W skinnies, 255/80/17. Came from 265/75/16 AT3W. Love them just as much as my last set.

Gonna need waay more pictures! can you get one looking head on from a little ways away? Seems like the demand for the skinnies was far higher than Falken anticipated, given that they're backordered on every site...

Yep! They’re outstanding. (Not skinnies, but love the AT4’s)

Upgrading to 35s from 285/70 soon and want to go back to Wildpeaks from my current KO2s. Love the new AT4 look and strength improvements. Wonder how much weight I'm going to gain

They're beefy for sure. Sidewalls on mine feel as thick and sturdy as my previous set of E rated Geolandar G003. Good to remember that these ratings are not real ply #'s nor durability numbers, they're load ratings, that's it. Load rating does not share a 1:1 relationship with durability offroad.

Where did you get them from? I have this size on back order at Discount Tire but they said they won’t have them until June.

Oddly enough, Discount Tire. They had to order them from Texas- not sure if there’s a warehouse there or if they poached them from a store that had them.

    Good luck finding a set.
