Well that makes sense. If he was stripping data for profit then yeah, Toyota would have a big problem with that. The tips were one thing but he monetized it when he took money from T4G and added their logo to it.

Well that sucks, really would be nice to see how many pro's and TH's that were going to be built. Why would Toyota not want that information out there? I've tried searching for pro #s for previous years and it looks like mostly guesses anywhere from 1500 to 5k.

 

NVA has $5k markup in SR5 trims.

 

I did read something before that said out of approx 200k Tacomas sold a yr only about 5k were Pros

 

That’s great that they focus on one item to nail down quality, but then things like the frame rot issue (yes I know Dana made the frames, but I’m sure Toyota gave them a spec to build to) that was happening for what, like 8 model years after the first recall?

Hmm I forgot about that. So it seems Toyota is just being crappy about options again. Interesting. I think they'll add options like that within the next two years though

 

I don't think they are going to sell 200,000 Land Cruisers and Toyota is doing a limited production of 5,000 First Editions. Pretty sure the mix of Tacomas will include considerably more than 5,000 Pros or they would have hyped up the "limited" numbers available.

 

On the models with larger tires, is the gearing different?
