A/C compressor Noise

I get a high pitch resonating noise when the A/C compressor is on. Strange that the pitch is the same at different RPMs. Possibly a belt idler too. Something I recall when turning on the defroster the first time this spring was, I first heard a loud banging like a hammer on the block about six times for a couple of seconds. Possibly the belt was slipping and slapping. It did happen one more time. But now I just have the high pitch whine. A/C works good. Anybody else hear something like this ?

 

That doesn't sound good haha. Unfortunately I can't be of much help as I have not heard anything from my A/C system
