    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Ok, so if you were following my thread on the Champion (Aluminum) Radiator w/ timing and waterpump you would know there was a bit of a mix up on my timing/waterpump kit from Aircabinman (Ebay seller). I wanted to take a moment and give a run down on my experience.

The thread I'm talking about is this one https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/aluminum-radiator-install-w-timing-and-pump.536687/

I want to start buy saying, if you are debating buying this kit from Aircabinman... stop debating it and just order it. You are not going to find an easier way to get the correct (and all 100% OEM) parts together. You are not going to find the parts cheaper... AND... I highly doubt you will find a better seller on Ebay, or anywhere for that matter.

So here's a brief on my personal experience. I popped my radiator on the way home from work last Wednesday. (I already had a radiator waiting to install but was waiting till I had the parts to do the waterpump and timing belt at the same time).

So I looked up Aircabinman's kit and it was showing an estimated delivery of Monday. I messaged Aircabinman (while I was still waiting for the tow truck) to see if they could expidite the shipping (at my cost) to get it by Saturday. Too my suprise, Aircabinman messaged me back in less than 35 minutes.

They said that they no longer do "Overnight" because there had been delays that were out of their control that led to negative feedback... but they would do their best to process the order as fast as they could... and that I should recieve the package by Saturday anyway.

Well... they did just exactly that, and I DID recieve the package by Saturday.

There was a minor hiccup though. The wrong thermostat was put in the package... BUT... they had already messaged me on Friday to make me aware of the possible mistake, as soon as they realized it. When I messaged them to let them know it was, in fact, the wrong thermostat and that I had to get the right one at the dealersbip, they messaged me back and did not hesitate to let me know they would make it right. And they have, since, made it right.

I do not hesitate for a second to recommend this seller or the item. Even with the honest mistake that was made... this seller made it plainly obvious they are honest, they are commited to giving the buyer what they pay for, and that they are available for communication.

Sometimes it's how a seller handles a problem that makes the biggest impact, in this case Aircabinman lived up to any resonable person's expectation.

This is the exact kit I bought a year ago. Had everything I needed. Went together like butter.

There's another thread here, I think in the stickies (or just search for timing belt replace), that's where I first heard of Aircabinman's kit.
