Has anyone experienced excessive front seat wear. My 22 with 23000 miles and cloth seats are really looking bad. Probably not a candidate for warranty work.

Some pictures might help the conversation on the wear you're experiencing.

That sounds unusual. I have 57K miles on my 2021 and my seats look like new still.

My workpants have velcro flaps on the pockets. Of course the hook side is on the pants and the loops are on the flaps. It started to make the seats fuzzy within a week of getting the truck. Seat covers fixed it up.

Not that early but I ended up getting seat covers anyway to simplify installation of heated seats. It might be clothing related or how you egress. I always wore out the outer cushion of the drivers seat when I drove lifted trucks.

Situational; body type and entry style are going to dictate much of this. I’m 5’ 8” and lean, but I can tell I’m awfully hard or the seat bolster, as my lift has me sitting on it and swiveling in and out of place,,, it will break down much earlier than most.

Also long trips versus short trips. Short distances require multiple entries. Look at a delivery driver’s car, they appear to have 2-3 times the mileage due to all the wear of short trips.

I had the beginnings of bolster wear. 45k on my 13, short trips, in and out as @Chew suggested.

CoverKing Neoprene covers took care of that. Also lets me get in wet with no worries.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
I have a 23 with more miles and Im not experiencing that. But our trucks may be used wildly different.

MY dogs destroying the inside so Im just gonna buy some cheapo seat covers for the time being.

Part I hate the most is most of the rear seat covers seem to cover the whole bench and back rests, so Id have to undo them to access whichever side I needed to open.

All good points and thanks for the replies. Many short trips with velcro on my rear pockets. Bad combination. Thanks again.

I do the opposite. I wear my stock seats out, then I buy seat covers.
