    I have not had the chance to install, but I went to the local craft shop to get some paracord buckles and found some soft felt with adhesive backing. I may line my glovebox, center console and the cubby below the AC controls with it to stop noises from stuff rolling around. They come in 8x10 sheets for about $1.50 apiece. I'm going to wait for winter to finally go away so the adhesive backing has a chance to stick so I have no pics yet.

    I don't think the felt would do it- it's not rugged at all. I just want to use it to stop things from shifting or making noise. I think if you wrapped a handle, IF it would stick, you'd ruin the felt pretty quick and have a mess. I'd wrap them in leather or even paracord in black or to match the truck. With paracord, it would be easy to change to another color or replace if dirty, or even to use in a survival situation or to lash something down in the bed.

    Yeah it's the best one we own. I'm surprised they're still for sale in NJ(it was a small trailer shop though). All the other cans I see have all the safety junk

    Realized that if you have a bed mat of some sort you could use it for extraction from sand or mud. Not free as a bed mat but a free mod as a Maxtrax extraction method.

    Hmmm. This is a good idea. Would the rubber strips really help that much?

    Here are the d rings I bought from etrailers.com for about $14 shipped. I installed two on each side. They work perfectly with no modifications and I installed them upside down so they do not interfere with the cubbies. Highly recommended!
