Hey so another question (can't ask too many). I was reading on wheelers and they say that the 885's give about 1.5 inches and the 886 2.5-3 inches? Is it okay if I choose the 886's for the 3 inches and have the rougher ride or do I need extra weight up front? I might get a winch in the future but not right now

    Most guys get 2 1/4 - 2 1/2" up front with 885's on a DC

    You could also get 887's

Oz you're always really helpful, if I go with 886's, the ride will just be a bit stiffer then right? And then I'd be ready for a winch if I decided to get one

884 , 885 , 887 are all the same spring rate just different heights

Yes , 887's should get you close to or at 3"

How come 887's are supposed to be for 4Runners only? If they are same spring rate just taller what is so different about them?

I would assumer 4runners to be a bit heavier since they do have the v8 option and a full cab in like the Tacoma bed

I dont see why not. I just bought everything from toytech in one big package. could always just sell the AAL that comes with the package to get some money back.
    And thank you :)

Hows it ride with the 886s without any armor yet? Too stiff, or is it bearable?
