Yeah I'm excited. They definitely look good in person. I'm hoping they don't give me issues about refunding tomorrow. I'm excited to get them on.

 

Called and spoke with one of the Rangers today and he confirmed that only part of the trail will open on the 1st and I thought he said the south platte portion was scheduled to open on April 30

 

I'd say the right is the drivers side ?

 

Common sense says you're right.
He's gonna call Toytec on Monday and find out for sure.

 

Because your receipt reads you would wait I would think thats on them and you should get a refund...but either way I would be so stoked they look great...

 

I cN look at mine to see if I can still see those markings and report back.

 

Thanks yeah that's what I'm thinking. It's cool to get them early though lol. Plus I have to make sure they applied the discount to the trans skid. They're receipts are super confusing to read lol

this, put the 0 (in spec) on the drivers side and the - (less than spec) on pass. The +, -, and 0 are in relation to the arch on the springs

Turns out that charge had nothing to do with shipping. It was a warranty they added on without asking, but they refunded it. so I have no idea why it got here so fast but I'm not complaining

Excellent, I knew I had read about that somewhere! Thanks for that link. We can't do the install this weekend anyway as he is waiting on the front coils assemblies.

 

I'll take that one! I don't always guess right.

 

So I found out my bed was loose today.

I could lift up on the passenger side front corner and it would lift ~1/8".

Figured I'd tighten the bed bolt and realized that my largest Torx was a T-50 and the bed bolts are T-55.

That sent me on a quest to HF to pick up a T-55.

That led to my impulse buy of one of the coolest tools I've ever seen. I can remember many many times when this would have come in handy.


Now that I have it, I probably won't need it for at least a year, but when I do.....


Then I went to Ray's to pick up my LCA skids. He finished BAMF's job and welded a spacer on the driver's side skid for me so now it shouldn't hit and bend my frame anymore.


While at Ray's I went to play with the bed bolt and found out that it was as tight as could be. The problem is this sleeve in the bolt hole. If it wasn't too long from the factory, then the bed has worn some because it was too long now. This made the washer tighten down on the sleeve, but not the bed itself.


We ground about 1/8" off the sleeve and everything's tight now.
