    With a 3" lift, you won't be able to get those numbers with stock UCAs

    Yes, but how often is he replacing ball joints...

    Not trying to say LRs are bad or anything, I'm just trying to make the right purchase the first time by doing research

    Alright, I'll have to think about it. Not many alignment shops by me that want to deal with a lifted truck, let alone one with adjustable UCAs.

    Do the camber/caster adjustments on these lock in place at all or are they only held in by tightening the nut down on the top of the ball joint?

    By this I mean are there are notches that hold it in place or?

    A few things
    The caster does lock into place with notches (I have mine set in the E position). The camber is held in place by the big nut.

    This may be a dumb question, but can you set camber and caster while the truck is on its fours? If I bring it to a shop to have it aligned, can I make adjustments while the truck is on the alignment rack?

    I thought you could adjust the camber, but probably not the caster

    I started on the "E" position, and couldn't get enuf Caster....Position "D" got me over 3* easily....gonna' hafta' see wutt works best for your truck....;)

    Usually the more Caster the better it tracks...caster and camber play off each other when fine tuning...get as much caster while still keeping the tires as flat as possible(camber 0.00-0.03)...you might have to backoff the Caster to get the Camber to a near 0.0 number....the hardest part is finding a Tech who has some experience with LR's, instead of giving you Factory spec numbers...took me 3 different places before I found an older tech willing to learn a new trick..:cool:

    This is my biggest concern. Hence as to why I want to set it to what I want and have the tech do minor adjustments on LCA. Thanks AWF ROWD and Oz-T. I'll set it at neutral (D) for +2 Caster and go from there, hopefully we'll get it right the first time
