Your best bet would be to loosen the other bolt and straighten the tab. If you marked your alignment before you loosen the other bolt you can get it back at least close.

I don't know I will check when I can, should I have it on jacks and wheel off when checking if it moves around?

thanks for the link.. why does it say that the Moog grease cam bolts are crap???

and it would be great if the pics were still there, guess because the member was banned they took them down?

ok, when I get time I'm gonna jack my truck up and shake the front tires to look for play in the LCA bushings, if no play found Im gonna loosen my one cam/bolt and move it back where it should be. Then I can straighten my cam tabs that are flatened and weld a bead behind them for added strength. then head off to get an alignment.

sound like I'm on the right path?

Ohhh I mide as well loosen all my cam bolts pull them out and grease them before the alignment. :)

with all the back and forth if I find a cam bolt that is seized Im gonna get it out and replace with OEM bolt.

I'm sure you could. Mine had 3 flattened tabs, I bent them back once only to find them fail again and said F**K it time to solve this for good.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure mine are still intact. And welding all those reinforcements up seems like overkill for me. I'd like them, but I don't really know

And I'm getting a new frame soon anyway so I'll just have them all reinforced after that.

I have seen the total chaos tabs. Id love to just do that and be done but its a fair amount of work.

Im going to straighten my LCA, bend tabs back, pull my cam bolts, do my bushings if needed, replace or just lube cam bolts, get an alignment, then weld the stock tabs and hope that does the trick. I think it will.

also did I read that when replacing the bushings DONT grease? they are suppose to seize in LCA?

aaaaand who thinks it would be easier/time/cost effective to pull the LCA off and bring them to a shop to get the bushings pushed out vs messing around at home heating and cutting at everything?

I will try and remember to take some pics when I get to doing this.

I received all the factory castor and camber hardware. Having held and fiddled with both factory hardware and the Moog parts I would stick to factory stuff. The factory stuff seems much tighter tolerances.. Just my 0.02¢

Really stinks that none of those pictures are live anymore. This is something I plan on doing here in the next month or so. But still have questions.

Edit* By none I mean a lot of the instructional photos

sorry not yet, i just got back from vacation the last 10 days. I'm hoping to jack my truck up tomorrow and see if it seems like I need new bushings or not.

then I will start taking things apart. I plan to take pics.

thanks for the info. I plan on ordering OEM. I haven't called the shop yet, how much for the cam/bolts?

    Drew.

Can anyone verify if the smaller bolt is suppose to have a sleeve as well?

My SPC bolts only had a sleeve on the larger bolt.
