Grrrr. Got the wheels cleaned, plastic bags in just right and went to place the index cards but they will NOT stay despite my best efforts, LOL. Dang, anyone have any other quick fixes for this step before I just go and order some new wheels? Thanks a bunch!

Its plasti dip, it will peel right off from the places you don't want it. Don't worry about 'taping' off the tires.

Peels off of the tires super easy, especially if you have put any tire shine on them recently.

Wussed out yesterday and dipped the badges instead, which went great! Having worked with the stuff now, I feel better about going ahead and doing the wheels today. So, here I go.... :deep breath:

Plastidip is very forgiving, particularly with over spray.

Put Armour All or similar product on the rubber. Be sure not to get any on the rim. More coats is better.
What is the plastic bag for?

Placed it inside just to protect inside from overspray. Tires are only a few days old and put Armour All on them that day. Just put a coat of tire black on for good measure, thanks! Time for the first coat, woop!
