May I recommend the option of cutting out a compartment over your rear fender for hi-lift storage? Mike unfortunately declined. :luvya:

When you cut tubes you have to precut them really close to what the "end" length will be. That way when the hole saw is halfway through the notch the first half of the tube falls off. If that makes sense. If you try to hole saw right in the middle of a tube its too much material, not to mention the hole saw will dull out faster because its making notches on the junk side too

What I did is if you are notching a 45* then cut the tube within an inch or so of where the notch will end and cut it at 45*, that way the notcher is doing as little as possible

I love the tube notcher, Mark has one and it too is HF. It works great for almost any angle that I used it at! But, kinda need an electric drill IMO.

Likely the single most expensive part of the truck. It doesn't look like $4,200, but it better act like it when the time comes.

It's whats inside that counts, right?

    35mm cam buckets
2mm over-sized stainless steel intake valves
    2mm over-sized Inconel exhaust valves
HD springs (rated for 10k rpm)
    Titanium retainers
    Hardened keepers
    Viton valve seals
Bronze valve guides and valve seats

You haven't finished the actual motor yet...and at this rate. It'll be more then the head haha

Also you better store it real nice and wrapped up. Spray some wd40 on it lightly and wrap it up in plastic wrap. They put it anywhere but your garage haha

Just look at the build thread
Can confirm this. Lost two heads and a block due to not knowing what I was doing.
