    Found this on Ebay.

Supposedly fits right in the spot where many people like myself have looked for an OEM style switch

    Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-TACO...-Connector-Terminals-GREEN-leds-/141628087435

I was trying to find if these switches were sold somewhere else with no luck. It would be nice to have a options like OTRATTW provides.

I'm thinking about reaching out the seller about them, but wanted to check here first to see if I was missing something.

Thank you very much. This looks like what I am searching for.

I notice the list the following options:

    • Tacoma 2005-2011
    • Tacoma 2012-ON Left Side Only
    • Tacoma 2012-ON Center Only
Are the center console switches for 2012+ any different than 2005-2011? I thought they were the same.

I'm pretty sure the centre console ones are the same too , not sure why they catagorize them differently , might be worth an email to them

Older tacos had 3 switches. I know my 14 has 4. Probably figment is different. I would bet they will still fit though with little work.

Here's the response they gave me:

The list their measurements as 32.5 mm x 22 mm. I measured the switch and it matches those exact measurement, so I'm not sure why they say it wont fit. Going to buy one anyways and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure those centre console switches are the same size , looking forward to your findings

I will definitely let you know how it goes.

I was just reading about the switch again and saw this:
    Less than 10 mins!?

Maybe if you didn't have to take apart the entire dash to access the center switches in a Taco.

ya don't. use feeler gauge or spudger and BAM switches pop out forward

only if you need to mess with wiring beyond the slack, is it hard to do

If he is adding a switch he would need to route the wiring and wiring harness back there. Unless someone has a crafty way of sneaking the wires into that area then there will be some level of dis-assembly needed.

Once you pull the center console, it's easy to feed wires to that location.

You don't need to pull the dash panel.

Carefully pop off the HVAC control panel. 4 pins on it that snap in. I used a plastic scraper. From there you can reach behind with your finger and pop out the blank. You can also shine a light in to show the way to run the wire. Or Google Led light install on Tacoma.

I will have to try this out. If only I had realized this last time I installed a switch there.

    Thank you.
