Good afternoon, my name is Jimmy and just bought an 07' tacoma sport 4x4 ,I love it but the ambient temperature display only shows ---F , compass works fine no problem , I took it apart like the other threads show and the 510 resistor are fine and they look good as well , no loose ends or broken pieces , even replaced the ambient sensor (by the front grill $20.00) and still does not work , please someone help don't know what else to do. Thanks

So I did some research and the compass/temperature guage is for a 2009 tacoma and it's not compatible with my 07' tacoma. Has anybody heard of this before ?? And if someone needs a 2009 guage I can sell you or trade you for one of a 05'-07' tacoma, see attached pics

It's odd that they'd have a different marking, but the marking is the same. Close to 51 ohms on yours, and 510 means 51 (and zero 'ten multipliers') ohms. (512 would be 5100 ohms, for example -- 51x10x10.)
