Help Alignment issues - Camber bolts frozen

    Anyone have advice for getting off or loosening the camber bolts. The alignment shop said they were able to get one done but they can't loosen the other three even after soaking them in PB Blaster or whatever they were using for over an hour (they supposedly tried three times).

    Any advice?

    FYI - just had my OME lift installed

    Cut them off and replace with OEM bolts , add grease before reinstalling , annually inspect and re-apply grease as needed

    This is a common issue , Toyota does not grease the cam bolt / bolt sleeve at the factory

    There was a DIY thread by a member that is now banned but most of the pictures don't work in it anymore

    Sometimes the bolt is simply seized to the inner sleeze , game over

    I think the prevailing opinion on those Moog bolts now is not worth it

    There are reoccuring issues with the washer parts failing

    my passenger side was fine, but my driver's side had surface corrosion. Cleaned the bolt up with scuffy pad, and slathered in antisieze compound, put it back together. Haven't checked it since, probably due.

    One of mine was seized , only way we got it aligned was from the LR UCA's

    Gonna tear it all apart this summer and replace the bolts

    at 154,000+km my driver's side wheel bearing is starting to make some noise/rough feeling. ordered the Hub assembly from bamatoy for both sides to replace. Darn exchange rate right now is killing me!

    I had to loosen mine to install the lift...made it so much easier in the end and no alignment issues too

    x2, it sucks but this is the best option. The parts aren't cheap and the job is a PITA. You'll need new bolts and bushings for the LCA. I hope you have a friend with a heavy press for the bushings. If you have questions, let me know, I did this to mine a few years back. Make sure you use grease when you put them back in, I just used neverseize and a year later they were frozen up again. It's an asshat design by Toyota in my opinion.
