What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Oh sweet what year(s) of a 4Runner did that come from?

 

Greased the 3 zerks on front propeller shaft that I missed last oil change, got a nice new rock chip in my windshield, and found out my glove box does indeed have a light but I don't think it has ever worked. Also, am I missing something here (circled in red)? Looks like a bolt is supposed to go there but don't know for what...3rz engine btw

99-02 but you need to make sure it wasn't a climate control model (I think because it had a different style) I ended up joining a 4runner forum to get it off a truck that was being parted out for cheap.

 

Did you make the tube doors? If not, who makes em? Are they easy to change out with stock doors?

Anyone know much about the Allpro Bilstein coil overs? I'm tempted to get these instead of the icon extended travel coil overs. Just cause the price difference.

 

You will be much happier with the icon's from what I'm told. All pro's seems not far different from any other billy setup.

Hey guys, i asked a mechanic about an oil leak that has appeared from somewhere between my steering rack and front diff. He said it might be my rear main seal.

What other preventative things should be done while everythings apart apart?

 

Though I read somewhere that these were international balanced?

 

nope, thats why the OEM ones (crank shaft pulley only) are 2 piece pulleys. I learned this when i realized my pulley had separated into 2 pieces.

 

Should I get clear corners and turn signals?

Just been sitting for 3 months and the batteries where linked so they drained themselves.

 

Frank must have the taste for batteries then lol
