Chrome swap for Door and tailgate handles

Just got a 2015 Trd off-road access cab and want to change the door and tailgate handles from the naked black plastic to chrome. Does anyone know the correct part numbers for the Toyota parts/covers? I've been looking at sites that sell Toyota OEM parts and none of them list the 2015's. I found the lock/"rear" covers for the doors in chrome for the 2014 but only the painted covers for the pull section of the door handles.

 

have you tried Amazon? I have never seen a Tacoma with chrome. Personally I hate chrome and judging by comments on this forum I am in the majority.

these look like the actual handles to me, because they have the front part that sticks into the body, but usually the ones i've seen at the dealer are the ones jhodge83 described

My truck is full of chrome from the aftermarket . Its pretty much hammered from road debris . Its all just cheap plastic junk . Nothing is metal anymore and it doesnt last .

It is a bitch magnet hahaha . The wife thought it was pretty and is why I was allowed to make the purchase .

oh Goodness....the truck I bought had the chrome layovers all around including mirrors...looked horrible...to each thier own. Got scratches all over when trying to take them off, was a PITA

 

Thanks for the input everyone. I totally agree with not going with aftermarket junk. I was under the impression (because of the pics on Toyota's website) that the 4-door Limited comes with chrome door hardware from the factory.

 

so from the factory is it chrome tape also? I have seen in a few truck accessorie places where it appeared it was the entire handle itself in chrome

oops just realized for the newer trucks they are painted from the factory. Are there options for the 1st gen's to get painted handles? How about painted mirror covers? Might just have to have a body shop do it

All limiteds (I have one) Come with Chrome clad wheels, door handles, and side mirrors.

You can definitely order them from Toyota.

I am working on getting ride of the mirror caps/door handles on my truck, they look tacky.

 

things proportioned well to me is fine in my opinion. Definitely the side mirrors I wouldn't have but the door handles bring out the wheels or add to or add a little chrome to the side of the vehicle to match the wheels. Then again side steps would bring out the wheels and the door handles then might be a bit much but I can see how they could also be a bit much like it stands now

My truck is red and has the black fenderwell splashguards. The wheels are the 16 inch alloys so only thing I'm doing first is fiberglass tonneau and chrome side assist steps. I will then see if the door handles will be too much. Also going to do a chrome exhaust tip. Overall the truck is well proportioned with all colors, the red, black, allow, and some chrome but not too much of either

 

I've got chrome all over my 2013 DBL cab Tacoma- I'd be willing to trade for either black or super white. I also have chrome mirrors and chrome grill that I'd trade for super white

I have chrome door handles which I would do tradsies for black or white ones. I also have a chrome grille and chrome mirrors which I would trade for white. I have a limited 2013 double cab... Comes with chromed out everything which turns out I'm not a huge fan of

 

Parts for the conversion. I've been too lazy to switch mine over.
