    Glad this worked for you.

It should be in the out "off" position for the alarm to work.

Does your horn honk and only the turn signals flash now during arm & disarm?

Chris did you and Ed ever figure out programing without the push button valet switch part of the equation?

I'm not going to give you a small face $20 for the answer though.

    he,he.......

yes, Ed posted a manual for the "west coast" non "gulf states" 3200+ alarm here is a link to that post:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/8660-rs3200-plus-tacoma-manuals.html

The information worked on my Taco built in Fremont, CA......
I programmed mine to passive with a 30sec delay, jury is still out on that. When I go to get gas I put in my card and start pumping I open the back door to play with my kid and the alarm always goes off and I feel foolish or when I'm done washing her and open my doors to clean the doorjams the alarm goes off. I guess I will get used to it.

YES IT HONKS ONCE TO CLOSE AND TWICE TO OPEN.
I THINK I READ SOMETHING ABOUT AUTOMATIC DOOR CLOSING WITH THE SWITCH ON?

I didn't like the horn either and deactivated it as well. Now the turn signals are the only indicators, as in one flash during arm and 2 during disarm.
