hey guys/gals, i remember seeing a post a while back that someone installed extra D-rings to the bed for extra tie down points. To me the 2 standard ones in the bed is not enough... Anyone installed extra tie down points that they want to share???? thanks

I installed 4 extra and have to admit this is the easiest and best mod ever! It should have been standard on our trucks

I agree....just ordered a pack from the army surplus online store....drilled out the holes on the D rings to make them larger / ground down the rings on the bolts. The entire process took maybe 30 min. Great mod.

I installed mine on the side. I reinforced the area with .080 alum. Hauled motorcycles for the past 4 years with no problems.

I ordered mine from Army Surplus as well...they are chipping a little...get a good coat of rustoleum on them before putting them down. They rust real easy.
