Oh yeah, just tacked in to get the bends in the arm and clearance all set, may move it up or down after I spend a little longer thinking bout where I will support it now that I can visualize the layout a little better.

Yeah, it is a nyloc, luckily that spindle doesn't take too much to pre-load it to where it needs to be. I am going to capture the nut with the gussets on the lower mounts, then tighten from the top.

I have one of the Synergy ones, looks to me to be one of the best/stronges latches out there.

Good work James! I will be pissed when you finish your bumper before I finish mine.

Well, I just looked back through your thread and looks like you started 2 months later than I did, so I will give you a 2 month buffer to complete yours!

Should come together pretty quickly now, just some square tube without many custom pieces to cut with the cutoff wheel. I swapped my 15# CO2 for a 20# yesterday, and decided to add a mount for my CO2 tank on the swingout. I was thinking about quickfists, but don't trust them for a 50# bomb sitting on the back of the truck. I think I will take a piece of 2x2 and run it vertical off the arm, then some wings to support the tank, with a gap in the middle to run a ratchet strap around.

Why not get something like this: And then weld it up to a backplate and a piece of 2x2 to use in the interchangeable receiver setup? Seems like it would be easy and hold the tank better.

I did look at those, and was about to pull the trigger, but the answer is $$$! Why spend $60-70 on something I can build for free! Also, this is going to be additional to the other mount, this one being full time. From driver to passenger, I will have the receiver setup>CO2 tank>tire. I think I should have enough room to squeeze it all in, the tank is only 8" diameter.

Haha. Its really more the principal of the thing. I am going to have to build some part of the mount, why not the whole thing for FREE!

You have my full, unconditional support.

    $FREE.99 is my favorite price!

Going to be a tight squeeze getting that all on there.

Picked up some angle iron by the way, busy this weekend though.

I think it will all fit, I will put the receiver halfway in between whatever space is left over, then make what ever mounts in there fit. A can holder with 2 cans facing out side by side will only be 16" or so wide, so 20" for the cans, 8" for the CO2, and a potential of 37" :D for the tire = 60". The tailgate is 55" wide, add the wings for the bumper and I am over 65". Plus, if it doesn't fit, I cut it off and move it around a bit, and burn it back in.

Did you get yours setup yet? Check out my tips in the MT thread if you haven't installed the straps yet.

Nice man! You have any side shots? Looks like you still have a helluva departure angle even with the spare hanging off the back.
