I was wondering when someone was going to start building a kit for heated mirrors. Good job Jaimes.

I'll add that I am working on bringing heated aspherical mirrors to the market. So your buyers can choose to go with the stock heated mirrors that you've found or they can use my aspherical/wide angle mirrors.

    Take a look here.

Good luck getting your product off the ground.

Since I have Jaimes' prototype harness (install would be the same) I can do this in the near future. I just need to pick up mirrors and a switch, which I will do as soon as I convince myself to spend the rest of the money to finish it.

The mirrors and switch I would get would be the same as what he would include (OEM).

OP list has been updated. I received a few commitments via PM early on and that is why a couple are on there in the first two spots. For any future people going on the list it would be much better to post in here as it is easier to keep track of positioning if it is all in the same place

Thanks for the comments! I had actually noticed you were going to be offering the aspherical mirrors and thought that was a cool idea. Yeah I see no reason why this wouldn't work with your mirrors if you have an option that comes with heating elements. Do you know yet what kind of terminal would be needed to go on the mirrors? The OEM mirrors take a .110" female spade terminal.

Also to anyone interested in that mirror option it is no problem to order a kit from me without mirrors. If you want to do that your cost is reduced by $110.

Just a note to any Canadian customers. As you know this is a great country to live in, but not necessarily a cheap place to live. The mirrors included with this kit if purchased at a local dealership are somewhere between $200-$300 just for the two mirrors. To get around that I have bought mirrors from the US and luckily I am able to include them with crate shipments that are brought in from the US through my work. That is how I am able to offer a good cost in Canada too.

With that said though my work only brings in these crates every 45-60 days so there is a potential for a supply issue. This won't affect US customers at all, but something to keep in mind if you are from Canada and looking to order. I'll do my best to keep ordering in inventory when I can though

I have 3 mirrors coming in next week and looks like there are three Canadian customers already so that will use them up. Will be ordering more in on the next shipment through work.

Also wanted to check with you guys since I see a lot of amber request rolling in... have you all checked what your stock illumination colour is? I could be entirely wrong but from my reading it looks like Toyota switched from amber lighting to green lighting right around 2012 or so. I have a 14 and my lighting is in green.

Ultimately I can send it however you guys want but wanted to make sure nobody is disappointed if they ask for a colour different than what the rest of their switches illuminate.

Thanks for the confirmation... I also thought that was the case. Anyhow it would be good for you guys to double check on the colour you want. It is easy for me to change this on the list for anyone who may have put down the wrong colour, just need to let me know of the change.

Does the depth of the switches limit which spot they will fit in on the left of steering wheel set up ?

That's a good question since the left of steering wheel switch is longer than the under the AC switch. While I won't make any claims that I have personally tried each and every slot... Every slot I have tried has been no problem. The left of the steering wheel switch appears to be the same length as the other switches that are already to the left of the steering wheel. There is a pretty good amount of space back there... with the switch in I've noticed there is still more room left behind it so it doesn't seem like it is being crowded.

The only one report I saw in the forums here of the switch having a depth problem was from a member who tried to place the left of the steering wheel switch in the under the AC position. I guess he modified the opening to fit the bigger switch only to find out that there was not enough depth behind the panel to install it there.
