    Yup ^^

Edit: And take off your trailer hitch harness holder thing. And mud flaps (if you want), bending them on stuff will scrape the paint under it. Not badly but a little.

you mean the trailer light plug for the trailer lights? no need, i've already relocated to inside the bumper. however others may want to consider doing that. but good call on the mudflaps, i was wondering if i can easily remove those and put them back on when done.

Honestly id take them off and leave them off.. At least the fronts. You will probably break the clips (not a big deal, screws alone will hold them on) but you'll find the scrape on everything and it's quite annoying. At least it was to me. Yes some more mud will be splashed on your truck but I haven't noticed any rock chips on my truck

You can do running boards if you take things slowly and carefully, but if you offroad to any degree, they should be removed and sold quickly before they get beat up and you can't recoup.
I've removed the front mudguards when I switched to 285s, and removed the rear forcefully by backing over unfriendly tree stumps and clumpy snow. 103k miles and I haven't noticed any severe chipping, unless you count the boulder that bent the bottom of the bedside. I solved that easily enough with a plasma cutter and a nice piece of C channel steel :)

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
After further consideration and review, I'm going to back out of this one. Too many trips lately and not enough cash reserve.

Also, I've got a 3" lift and step bars. I ran the loop with everybody else (but skipped rock garden activities) and my bars didn't get messed up at all. However, I can see how they could.

That's a shame. Sorry to hear you can't go. I know you sounded excited to break in your new truck. There will be other times i'm sure. i enjoy Tahuya, even if it is far away from me. i can go again and again and again.

Great hopefully in the fall sometime! Yah definitely excited. I'll remove the mudflaps and I do not have sliders or side steps yet. Have a good one

    Casey,

I recommend updating your OP with updated meet times/location etc.

It's not a long tread, but I'd hate to see someone show at 11am like the original post states as tentative.

If anyone is good with tuning CB's and doesnt mind helping me out that would be awesome! I have a small, cheap meter i got off Amazon it just didnt come with very good directions. Everything is run wire wise so it shouldnt take long at all.

Also dont forget your Discover Pass! Wal-mart sells them if you are like me and wait till last minute lol. (got mine this morning)

Make sure when you do it that you try getting away from other metal objects so you don't get weird results.

I just want to say, that i feel the whole discover pass idea is stupid. One should now have to pay (again) to use PUBLIC land. Who's going to pay for basic park maintenance? Everyone... with sales, gas, car tabs, and property tax. More people moving to WA and using state parks? Doesn't the higher tax base solve that? Sorry, I just feel that land owned by the public should be free for the public to use...
