    I am pretty sure I will be removing my flares once I get my rear bumper installed. I plan on having Jake build me a set of exoskeleton type brush-guards for each fender connected to the sliders.

    It's a shitty drawing but this is what I am looking at:

    There was one guy I met on a run who took off the flares from the front and the rear, then glued on this rubber gutter trim. Looked really nice, but he was really cagey when I asked him how he did it :mad: WTF is with people who don't like sharing DIY tips?
    I'd probably switch to full flareless panels since they give more clearance (by a LOT), but they bring the sides in, which doesn't line up with the front bumper, and the plastic acts as a nice deflection.

    If you want to do it all pro-like, RelentlessTaco and all.on.black plastic welded their flares for clearance, but I'm totally clueless how that even works.

    That would look killer, Kolt. Do you front tires rub the bottom edge of your fenders when you turn and compress?

    I went through about 3 rounds of fender fixing and patching and repainting. The very last time, the flares fell off on the freeway near Portland. Against my better judgement I walked back a few hundred yards to retrieve it. Then it was all for naught when my tire flew off on my way to a TW meet and hit the fender. It's cursed.

    Somebody needs to make mild fiberglass for us non-LT folks. I look a little dorky without LT but I have no more rubbing issues for sure.

    Well SOB! I just lost a weather tech window vent on the highway. Pulled over to retrieve it, cars were blowing it over closer to the shoulder, then a semi ran the damn thing over busting it into a million pieces. Lame.
