Because my front bumper is super light and I don't plan on running a winch so I don't think I need the heavier springs.

So far they're great. I haven't done anything crazy but they flex well def needed the extended brake line.

I think so don't hold me to it but I believe there are the nitrochargers and nitrocharger sport shocks.

Ok cool. I'm planning on full armor, hybrid bumper and winch eventually. So I think the 883s will be fine. Haha.

I was thinking all pros because I heard they're more flexy, but don't have the same hauling capacity. But I don't haul much so it'd be fine.

Yes you can do the leaf packs on the 1st gens but its a little different process as 1st gens have different length leaf spring from center pin then 2nd gens here is the link for some good reading. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-spring-refurbishing.194386/

Hey guys!! So by the end of the year I will be getting stationed at Luke afb in AZ. I have never been on this side of the country before, I've mostly been in wisconsin my whole life. All I know is there's a ton of great offroading in AZ so I'm stoked to be getting stationed here. My only concern is if I should keep or get rid of my taco. I have an 02 trd dbl cab pre runner, 208k, eibach/5100, new alloy rims and tires, it's got some rust underneath and normal Midwest wear, but it also has a new frame. Do you guys think it's worth bringing down to AZ or should I get something diff? What do guys usually run out here 2wd or 4wd? If you guys could give me any kind of advice that would be great!! Thank you!!

Ya...lol. I might as well post it again. Ummm are there a decent amount of trails out here? I'm more into trails and going slow, instead of doing that prerunning offroad.

Yea man, you can do a lot. I mentioned the back road to CK. This is a must while you are stationed here.

So you think the pre runner will be enough for that trail?

Yes for the most part Its a easy trail. They have bypasses on all the 4x4 stuff so you can just go around

This... But honestly you can attempt a lot of those obstacles. We typically go in small groups up that trail cause it takes half a day. Plus we stop in Crown King for frosty beverages and burgers at the old Mill.

Just got to be sure there is no snow or we hook you up and pull you when we hit 5000 feet. Just for safety reasons. The last leg of the trail is a climb before we hit the pines.

Wow I'm pretty stoked about AZ now. We never had anything like this in wisco.
