I think I posted about my 15 gallon auxiliary fuel tank in here when I installed it almost a year ago. finally got around to finishing up the fill-port. it became a real hassle to climb into the bed to fill up the tank, especially when the bed had other things in it. now I can fill it up, standing in the same place as when I fill the main tank.

Spent several days in the backcountry with the family last week. Had a few really awesome campsites along the way. Reminds me how diverse and awesome the terrain and landscape is in Utah. Hope you don't mind a photo dump.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I got the same compressor and have never had any issues with it (deep south Texas). I am looking at setting it up as an OBA or as a back up to an additional OBA system as I would like the ability to run an impact off if it.

I like the reusable hose. That's a great idea. And those deflators are now on my short list!

@Box Rocket , great pics! Thanks for sharing, seeing you out overlanding is really helping me stay motivated to keep working on my truck. It looks like my wife and I will have to plan a route through Utah, that's too beautiful to pass up.

    Cool setup.

This brings up another point. I'd love to see DCLB behind-seat storage mods that get rid of the stupid, wasteful plastic bin shit back there. I can't even get my small Craftsman tool box in there, which use to fit perfectly under the driver seat of my 1st gen (but does not sit like that in the 2nd gen, yippee).

I've see Pete's "woodsman edition" mod, and other member's rack system (the blur metal laser cut grid will mil pouches all over it, can't remember his name). Neither are really quite what I'm looking for. I want to maximize the whole area. I was searching a bit last night, but did not find much.

I basically envision pulling out all the plastic (like the above compressor setup), but then sound-deadening the whole area, and adding some sort of space-efficient bins/control devices to accommodate the small toolkit, another small box with hitch-towing related tools, cargo-control related stuff, ...you get the idea. I also want to take measure to proactively eliminate any annoying rattles or other noises created by all this crap...to the extent practicable. Even the under-seat bins are pretty skimpy, and I wonder how much wasted space lays beneath those, and if they can be improved on.

I'm sure you guys have some other ideas I'd love to see. In fact, it is worthy of it's own thread, so if I just missed that thread, please help me out. If not, maybe I 'll start one.:)

I know I've seen setups that bolt directly to the bed rails. I think. Somewhere. Is that what you are thinking?

No, still want to keep both rear seats fully functional, so whatever I do needs to accommodate seatbacks up and locked in the takeoff and landing position.

Cabela's ammo dry storage boxes on TTORA. Just another idea. They fit.
