    The Millennial Build

    Follow me on Instagram: @awindsor8

YES, I WAS UNFORTUNATELY BORN AS A MILLENNIAL. SO THIS IS MY SAFE SPACE!

Not-So-Nice because as a Benedictine College student (and a full-time scholarship baseball player) who wants to almost cry every time I check my bank account, I am building my taco to the best of my ability with the resources I have! (so don't expect to see king shocks and high dollar things!) :)

This is my 2005 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner (Pee-Runner) SR5. I named this beaut "Cassi". This is short for Cassini. I am a Mechanical Engineering and Physics major in which I collaborate and research with one of my professors. We conduct research dealing with ionization in the ionosphere of Saturn's moon Titan. We receive data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft, hence the name "Cassi". I was lucky enough to become a co-author on my first publication this past year so I am naming my truck after that accomplishment. If you think that is stupid... I don't give a damn ;)

This has been a slow build and will continue to be slowly built as I put a good chunk of the money I make into it! As I said I will be a junior this upcoming year so I will be getting into the manufacturing and designing process so I have ideas to build my own armor and potentially take on the challenge of a LT travel kit. We will see! Stay tuned for those kinds of stuff.

    So on with the BUILD!!!

How it sits today as of 1/3/16

Then came the new Spintech muffler which I love the sound of

Then I ordered the mesh and letters for the raptor style grille and did it myself:

Then I color matched the grille surround:

Just updated the build. I have lots of plans for the next couple years so stay tuned as I plan to build a rear HC bumper with tire swing down, sliders, bed rack, and hopefully design a LT suspension..... over the course of 3 years lol

so a lot of new stuff this summer:

Found a good deal on Craigslist for a set of tires with a brand new spare. A set of 315/70R17 ProComp Xtreme M/T's. With these I came across another deal from a local member to regear to 4.56 Nitro gears from ECGS
    temp-2_8a6ac75087e9b33fdbdc5a538c5babfa88d28b1a.jpg

Finally removed the fender flares and covered the holes with countersunk washers/bolts and painted them black.

Got around to re-doing the raptor satoshi grille after the surround flew off. Derped the letters red

    Added a truck tool box
    temp-19_b94a085834cd8bd5ea38759dec43ec7a158e1e81.jpg

Wired in an AUX input and installed CB radio and built an antenna mount

Sweet build man! I want to copy the Raptor style grill, do you remember where you got the mesh by any chance? Thats also the spot I want to install my CB. Did you drill a hole through the bottom of the center console for the wire, or go a different route?

Thanks! I bought the mesh from @HomerTaco 's group buy that I believe he still has up but I am not 100% positive. Yes I had to drill a hole for the wires. Also it is needed for the cb to sit low enough to clear the top of the console.

    Thanks man!
