    I was thinking about putting something together for October. Maybe a couple somethings. A Croom trip and maybe a scouting trip to Citrus, with or without camping (depends on how hot it is for me). Gonna have to look and see when hunting season starts at Croom though.

    Oct 24-26 is muzzle-loading season @ Croom. Other than that, the 10th, 17th, and 31st are free. Citrus is wide open until Nov 7th (a date which shall live in infamy :infantry:). Could be a bit crowded toward the end of the month though with hunters doing their own scouting trips.

    BTW, Frank, what's the status on Squeaky's suspension and tire upgrades? Yer running out of summer here. :D

    Bummer. But then again, it'll be nice to have that mod day when it's cooler. :D

    Yeah, that's way out there on the pan-handle. Not really sure what's around there, but it's not far from Alabama which I think has some decent spots. Also, we have a state-wide annual camping/trail riding meet at Citrus WMA down near Inverness every year in January or February. We get folks from as far south as Miami and as far north as Jacksonville with a couple from out there on the panhandle. I think we had more than 30 trucks show up last February. The trails are mostly sand and mud with a few red clay washout areas to play around in.

    In Ocala, there's an ORV park called Hard Rock Cycle Park which is about as close to rock crawling as you're likely to find in Florida. It's an old limerock quarry with some decent hill climbs and a few rock gardens.

    Other than that, there's plenty of places to go if you like mud. Some of them aren't too far away from Ft Walton Beach. You probably wanna talk to @Alfuh . He's up around that area, near Panama City I think.

    You have Eglin AFB out there that has lots of trails but pretty sure you need a permit. I've never been but half my family lives up there.
