    Just replace it all! Hahaha
That's what I'm doing. I have 2 Axles from CVJ, 2 new Hub Assemblies from nj636, and the ECGS Bearing. Once I have everything new on there...all should be nice and smooth. Well, I hope so anyways.

Update. I now have 52,000 on the ECGS bushing and everything is still fine. No vibes.

Unless your axels were shot, you should keep the oem's

My axles have had ripped boots for quite some time now, my wheel bearings are squeeling like a mo' trucker, and I have vibrations that can be felt in the floor board from the needle bearing in the front diff being shot.
Hence the CVJ Remaned OEM Axles, new Hub Assemblies from nj636, and ECGS Bearing.

Anybody have a good idea how I could determine if my vibrations are wheel bearings vs CV joints?
My CV boots all look good, so I suspect it is most likely the wheel bearings, but I don't want to shell out the money for new hub assemblies before I can confirm that that will solve my issue. Is there a easy way to check the bearings without completely disassembling the hubs/spindles? Even if I do disassemble them, given that the bearings are sealed (?) will it be easy to identify if they are shot?

    Wrecked!
Lift the tire off the ground with a jack grab both sides and check if there is play. Thee should be none. If it has even a little its most likely wheel bearings

So what is the Toyota Solution? I've already had my front diff and carrier changed under warranted this past winter, and want to make sure i get the "factory fix" if the issue comes back - which it will.

A ripped boot can be easily repaired, unless it has a bunch of dirt in it. The cv axels have nothing to do with wheel bearings. If the needle bearing was really bad it could have damaged the cv, but I'm talking many thousand miles. Hope its gets you back to smooth driving.

Turn off the radio and fan switch. Put the windows up and hit the road at 60, make firm but smooth lane changes and listen for the noise to get louder/quieter. If the left is bad, it will get louder when you turn to the right? (If I remember correctly) and vice-versa. If it doesnt change sound, either both are bad, or its something else.

its not quite so cut and dry. Early stages of wheel bearing wear will be heard before it can ever be felt at the wheel

Just ordered the ecgs bushing, now to order a new hub assembly. Might as well do it all at once.

Make sure you do both driver and passenger wheel bearing assemblies. I did the ECGS and both wheel bearings and my trucks is now smooth and quiet, like I was a driving a new truck again.

My groan and vibration is most evident at about 30-35 MPH, especially when coasting (foot off the gas). If I speed up to 40 and then lift of the gas and let the truck decelerate, I can turn the wheel to the left and the vibration and groan go away. When going straight or turning to the right, that is when the groan and vibration are there. Does that mean that it is likely my passengers' side wheel bearing? That would make sense because my gut is that its coming from the passenger side when i'm riding in the cab. But it has been very difficult to reproduce the sound when I've jacked it up. I can't spin the wheel fast enough by hand to recognize the sound over the sound of just the brake pads dragging.
