Got home today from work and did a little prep work for this Saturday's diff/locker install.

Installed the Air Locker solenoid on the air compressor, wired up the new rocker switch, and ran the airline under the truck to the rear diff. Tested it and it works great. Air only comes out when locker switch is pushed, just like it's supposed to do.

Its going to be so over geared right now hahaha but gives you a reason to get 35's sooner!

True dat! I'm trying to get in on a group buy with cruiser outfitters for the safari snorkel. Then 35's!!!!!!!!! Don't know the best way to do it though. Try to sell mine now or use them up quickly so I have an excuse for new ones

I was in the same pickle, so glad I sold mine now. At least you get the most money out of them now, you know you want 35's so get as much money you can out of your current ones (since your "unhappy" with the size) and put it into 35's.

Im getting a snorkel too.. Not sure when though

Im not sure.. I like the intake head of the safari better but the airflow goes with body better. I just don't like the round head on the airflow

I think both of them look great I just know for a fact I'm getting a good product when it's made by ARB so I think I trust the Safari Snorkel more.

I know @Mademan925 has one and im sure he likes it, but the airflow is also really popular

Most everybody likes their snorkel regardless of the brand. They're awesome. I just feel like ARB's is probably higher quality. Just my opinion

Well I got over to my buddy's house around 9 am and we started the diff swap. Front end took a while because you have to undo the tie rods, UCA's, LCA's, slide the CV axles out, blah blah blah! Lots of stuff in the front. Much less room up front for your hands to fit to undo bolts and stuff but it still went pretty smoothly. With a lunch break and some smaller breaks in between and working on my buddy's 4Runner a little the front took about 5 hours.

Also while the front tires were off I threw in some new powerstop extreme break pads.

The rear was a piece of cake! In and out like nothing! Took an hour. Here is a photo dump of the day!

I can notice a large difference in acceleration and will comment more on how the drive feels in the days to come. Can't wait to be able to test out the new rear ARB locker!
