Rigid "clone" is the operative word there. Not saying they're bad but I had a set of Lifetime LED's and they burnt out within 10 months. I'd rather spend the extra money on a proven company. Not knocking them and I hope you have good luck out of them. Just my experience with them hasn't been the best.

Yup and if you ever have to replace your off-brand lights, you'll be paying out of pocket vs Rigid's lifetime warranty... Money well spent IMHO

Yeah, but I have 6 Rigid dealers within 10 minutes of my work, and they'll take care of everything, no shipping costs etc.

I received these project LM light pods and light bar to test them out and for them to use my truck for their site. surprising the lights are really bright.

the opening on the bumper was not modified, though we had to modify the non-rigid light to fit in the opening

I actually discoved they have a package with a 20" LED bar and Duallies $112 off their bargained $580 on their site if you pair it with a bumper. Pretty good deal considering their RIs.

I bought mine when they were having a sale on bumpers and other things back in Feb. I "think" you had to buy them both IIRC.

my take on hooking up RI D2s to the stock wiring. Later on I'll make a better pair without the splice.

...aaand a not too terrible pic of the final product.

You didn't even have to splice the wires. All you have to do is cut about 1/4" off the connector coming off the D2 and it plugs directly into the factory plug. You made a good looking harness though.

    Oh yeah... Awesome bumper :woot:

Thnx. Cutting the plugs was the original plan but I ultimately didn't like the idea of ill-fitting plugs and bundling up in tape. besides, half the fun is working the problem and coming up with a solution.

Yeah that was the downside to me also. I thought about getting some shrink tubing to go over it but the difference in plug size is too big. Yours definitely looks better.

I almost agree with you there. I love Black vehicles but they are so damn hard to keep clean. Beautiful when they are though. My last truck was a 2011 white Tacoma and I went to the dealership and told the guy that we've worked with for the last 10 years or so that I want a Loaded Tacoma as long as it isn't white. I really wanted a MGM. He looked it up on the computer and said we have two loaded ones on the lot. "Great" I said. He said "their both white". Damn... Oh well... I like white too and it's easier to keep clean.
