I'm up in the Quad Cities but I spend a lot of time on the STL area.

I am but, I won't be available for a little bit. Going back into hospital Friday to have yet another arm surgery. TenBeers had suggested a camping location in an earlier post that I'd like to hit if I'm feeling good by then.

    Yeah.
Council Bluff Lake down near Potosi. Right in the middle of Mark Twain National Forest. Weekend of Oct 10 is out, campground is reserved for Burnin' at the Bluff 12-hour mountain bike race.

My arm is wrecked. 28 staples and better than a dozen stitches almost completely in the bicep. Also found out that I'm allergic to Vicodin as it causes me to break out in a giant rash. Have been off of it for a couple days and still itch everywhere. Going in for tests on Monday to sort out if I have nerve damage in my hand/arm as just touching anything causes a large sensation of pain in my fingers. With that said, it hasn't exactly been an entertaining week here.

With that said I'm pretty bummed out as I know that there is no way I'm going to be able to go bow hunting this year. Hopefully I will still be able to get a camping trip in with you guys so please don't leave me out until I officially beg off. My son has been begging to go camping again and with all of this medical stuff going on I feel like I've let him down a bit this year.

Mark, check your subscriptions as there are multiple options with one of them being "never notify" or something similar. If you can't find the place to change that option I'd suggest removing the subscription, reloading the thread page, and then re-subscribing making a point to see if an option is offered. Most treads I set to daily except this one as I set it to immediate in case someone shouts out that they are in a jam and need a hand in case I might be available.

Speaking of a jam as it were. I just received my aspherical mirrors from Nate and now being all thumbs am humbled to say that I'm probably going to need a hand installing them. So, if you are in the area and are interested in a pair but would like to look at them before you buy maybe we can work something out when I can get the help getting them in and you can give them a test drive. Let me know.

Thanks man, I'm getting notifications now. Give me a shout when you're ready to drop those things in I'd be happy to help. Just got done reading that thread and I have to admit I'd never heard of mirrors like that before for your car or truck.

I live in Webster right off Watson Rd, so not too far. I drive a white DCSB TRD Off-Road with a ARE topper and sliders. Might hear that whine of my supercharger if you get close enough! :burnrubber:

    Welcome Jay!

After a derp on my part - Brother in law talked me out of an Icon suspension - finally getting a new suspension in soon from Wheelers. Fox front and back with TC uppers and All-Pro expo leafs. Have to wait a bit on the front coil-overs as the card we used for them got locked by the banks fraud department. Apparently someone at the hospital where we used it last thought that we would appreciate it if they helped themselves to some weaves and extended nails from some ghetto outfit in the city.

Sucks to have all of this happening while I have an arm in gimp mode.

What reasons did your brother-in-law have against an Icon suspension? I plan on ordering a stage 4 Icon kit (with a full Dakar leaf pack) in a month or so. I've heard nothing but good things on Icon's so I'm curious.
