    Going to give it a shot this weekend. Messed up my Deltoid ligament in my foot, so laid up for a few days, then I'll hit the truck, and see if it fixes my hood alignment issue.

    I think my hood is probably raised slightly higher then it should be also because of the overall height of the bushing. Either way, my support is sagging so I've been having hood alignment issues for a long time now with or wothout new bushings so it really doesn't even matter anymore.

    I had the bushings installed both ways. I ended up with the bigger busing on top, but no big washer. I absolutely love it! Every day I drive the truck and I still can't believe that $23 made the front end so solid feeling.

    My advice for anyone installing the bigger bushing on the top is to loosen both sides before attempting to jack up the body. I didn't do this and I too had pops and clicks when jacking and I realized that perhaps if I unloaded the other side it may have been less stressful for the truck.

    I did forget to mention that's what I did to unload the support, was loosen up both sides that way I could work on each side without any issue.

    I knew right away, I was like Oh sh**! :eek: :smack: :D

    Same principal holds true for anyone doing the body mounts, Loosen both sides before swapping the bushings out.

    Speaking of which, I pulled a bin out of the back of the truck and had time to locate the rear body bushing access port and took some pictures.

    Did the radiator bushings today. Easy once I did one side and got how to do it. I used my impact wrench and like 1.5ft of extensions hahaha. Whatever works.


    Stock bumper, didn't take it off. Also, I put the small one on top,

    I haven't done the poly body bushings yet... Those pics above are just showing where/how to get to the rear ones.

    I may look for the front ones this weekend.

    For those of you that have replaced the cab mounts, is it a difficult job or not really?

    Also, did you replace the bed mounts as well as the cab ones?

    Did the cab ones give any bodylift or are they the same height as oem?

    There are (4) body mounts for the cab. They are stock replacement, same height and dimensions. Not too bad to install from reading what Tor wrote.

    There are no bushings for the bed, in that case the bed is bolted directly to the frame, which actually sucks! Because the bed can grind away against the frame, and is a known problem on our trucks. Millowi just made a thread about it a few weeks ago.

    Any link on that bed grinding thread? Sounds important. Maybe stick a thin piece of rubber inbetween.

    Yes. Stock bumper cover. Bigger bushing (no washer) on top, it made a small gap. Pictures below, looks amazing if you ask me. (luv my truck!) lol :D
