    Thanks Folks
Only driven it 13 miles so I can't say much about it yet.
As for mods, maybe a tonneau cover and the steel wheel have to go :)
I have some research to do... how to unlock all the doors when you push the remote once.... want the cargo light to come on when you open the door (if possible). Stuff like that

Got little to do with how thick your skin is. Maybe it's because I'm older and remember life well before the internet...but back in the day we just enjoyed our vehicles. There wasn't access to the plethora of negativity, bullshit, trollism about how terrible your car/truck is/was. We just enjoyed ourselves more. Of course this is all just my opinion.

    2000 mile report:
    1. Annoying rattle in my left ear. Seat belt? Drivers door?
    2. Imperfection in the Console lid. Will get a new one under wtty.
    3. Clunk from the right front when leaving a parking space with the wheels cut 1/2 way.
    4. Stereo stinks compared to the JBL in my 05 Tundra
Other than that, It's fun to drive

Here are a couple threads discussing a few fixes for that rattle:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2011-dc-window-rattle.206869/

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wind-noise-from-window-anyone-fixed-it.185461/

I had a mild combination of two problems - the door weatherstripping making noise itself and the weatherstripping on the body making noise against the door. I put silicone spray inside the door weatherstripping and put friction tape on the top left of the door frame but everyone's experiences are different.

My combination of the two got rid of the noise 95% of the time but it comes back every once in a while just to remind me how nice it is when it's quiet inside the truck. Good luck!
