Yes and no. One led won't be a problem.

But LEDS get plenty hot. Why do you think the entire housing on LED bars are one giant heat sink?

This. This is a huge myth I found when I started getting into LED's. Maybe they aren't as hot as their brightness equivalent incandescent counterparts, but they definitely do get hot.

That's what I'm worried about if I do switch the parking lights for a blinker. I know it won't be on for a long time but with me usually having my blinker on for 2-4 mins at some points during traffic has me worrying about the housing.

I think this is what you are looking for. The group buy failed but I'm hoping to buy one in maybe January. I'm thinking maybe I could print out a bezel on a 3D printer that would make a nice mount for the headliner just behind the rearview.

    Or.......

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00PM...+led+amber&dpPl=1&dpID=41nT5DVIgmL&ref=plSrch

Just some suggestions......always make sure you plug them in the right way. Only one polarity through works on leds.

You will need resistors to slow down the blinker speed if you do led. They are easy.

Anything electronic generates heat. What happens when electrons flow. Leds are fairly safe.....

It won't melt your housing if you had it on all day!

Don't need a resistor I installed a different blinker relay, it didn't slow it down to factory but it slowed it down enough to where I like it.

    And I have these

Which is brighter than the last link you sent me. I was thinking of getting brighter LED's and i think 800 Lumens would be too hot for that little housing. :p

My Relentless bumper isn't being made with a hitch so I guess I will be back to the OEM style. I actually had the same concerns about the plate/tube bumper receiver not being Class III. Ideally I think a frame cross member similar to the OEM plus the receiver in the plate/tube bumper would be the best solution.

I only have a couple of inches of lift I think. My wheel well is at 37" whatever that means.

Now that you mention it maybe I just needed to rotate the bar down to make the fit. I just didn't want to preload the sway bar in order to get the fit up.

Cool thanks. I remember reading someone using blue or red. But I couldn't remember which one it was.

Like I said. One isn't going to be a problem. A blinker won't that's for sure.

I was just clarifying the statement that LEDS are cool. Because they aren't always.

But a blinker will be fine
