The e-mail I have says the following (cut and paste):
"The vehicle you select may have an "Addendum Sticker" (displayed next to the MSRP/Window Sticker) listing additional dealer-installed items, such as window tinting, VIN etching, pin striping, etc. Costco members receive a 75% discount off the price listed for these items. These items are optional. If you prefer a vehicle without these items and they are not easily removable, please ask your Authorized Contact at the Costco dealership to review your options for acquiring an alternative vehicle, such as a factory order or dealer trade."

Are you in Arizona? Probably a different region.

Not sure if it was mentioned earlier but does anyone know if things like the military or college grad incentives/rebates apply to Costco priced vehicles?

I am confused. Are you saying there is a dealer named Doxon in Auburn, CA that quoted you over invoice for a Costco deal?

You should be entitled to any applicable incentives/rebates IN ADDITION TO Costco pricing. Don't let the dealership tell you that the Costco price includes incentives, etc. It is a separate number/figure (because not everyone qualifies for military, college grad, etc. discounts). Make sure that they show you the specific Costco price and that the rebates/incentives will be applied on top of the Costco pricing.

Nope, assumed you were talking about Doxon Toyota in Auburn, WA. They are the Costco partner for Toyota sales in the Seattle area. I was quoted ~1k over invoice there. Was able to do better elsewhere.

In the past I found Costco prices to be good but I was able to take the Costco price and shop it around and knocked another $500 off.

Wondering what else the dealer tries to tack on (aside from dealer installed accessories), outside of the Costco "Invoice" price -- Toyota Dealer Advertising fee (TDA) is one I hear brought up a lot on the pricing discussions here... many dealers won't budge off of this fee despite the urge from many posters to try and get away from paying it...

Some say it non negotiable, some say it is (comes out of holdback I believe).. I've read some dealer split it down the middle (again, out of holdback).

Yep pretty sure as I'm just a basic member... actually my card is expired but the member number still worked to get me an authorized certificate for pricing...whatever they call the validation code thingy.

Costco discount not applicable...according to this dealer. Anyone heard similarly? Also said no discounts at all.

If you go through costco auto website put the truck in and go to the dealer it refers you to. If this happened and this is the dealer Costco referred you to, you need to talk to the dealership management and let them know you're going to report to Costco otherwise just go straight to Costco and tell them anyway. A lot of buyers are naive and uneducated and do not have the knowledge to call them out on BS like this so they will try to take advantage of those people who are going to pay the premium right now for a new vehicle.
