Uh kinda, its divided in half in Ga. Half wheel half mawl crawl. The ones who typically wheel got busy with life (school, jobs, family) so don't have a lot of time to hit some trails

Hey Jeremy. Check out this thread where some of the Columbus guys hang out:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anyone-in-the-columbus-ga-area.307887/page-12

I'm also in Columbus. There's probably 10 or so others from the city that are also on TacomaWorld. I kind of hope we can schedule a meet and greet one day somewhere in town.

As for trail riding, not much in Muscogee, Co. There's Flat Rock park which has a couple of hills and rocks you can climb if you do it without drawing much attention to yourself and a mudhole that the mall crawling crowd likes to run through. Technically off roading in the park isn't "allowed" since it's a pedestrian park, but people do it anyway. Also there's the Standing Boy Creek WMA in north Columbus that has a few gravel trails to explore if you want to get off the pavement, but nothing challenging or particularly exciting. Beyond that you'll find a lot more dirt roads and trails in Talbot County and Taylor County which are right next door. Junction City in Talbot county is only about 45 mins away and has a lot of fun places to ride dirt roads and test your truck in the sand. People say there are decent trails out at the backside of Benning but I haven't had a chance to look for them yet.

Keep in touch, maybe we can meet up in town one day and grab a beer.

Agreed haha. It was my first time in the woods too. 35 yard shot from the ol Hoyt, 20 yard run, and a 100 yard drag. Was a magical afternoon in the woods. Definitely hope to add more this season (when I can finally get back home). Need to find somewhere to hunt here around Columbus lol (go to school in Auburn)

If you got your safety course 10 years ago, you should be fine. I never have to show mine anymore, just my DL

That's the thing, I never have to produce anything associated with the paper or card. When I went into cabelas to pick my license up 3 weeks ago, they only asked me for my drivers license. Then they asked which license I want (which I always get the sportsman) and then out the door I went

As long as you have the license, you're golden. I can honestly say whenever I've been stopped by mr. Green legs, they've never asked for my hunter safety card

I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure it's tied to your SS#, so I think you can call up to the DNR office at social circle (or probably any of them, just social circle is the headquarters) and they could send you a replacement or give you the number
