Gotcha but airports always have more vehicles than other rental locations because they have to, most people don't think to rent locally from them, and wouldn't be the mileage issue which is why I made the suggestion. Trust me, I rent cars often for work

    I hear ya.
I would have gone the rental option if my truck were not safe to drive and I had to get somewhere.

    I'm confused.

The only information we had to go on was in your very first post and the thread's title.

"Gonna risk it," "lots of play," and you "now know" your wheel bearing is shot. It is safe to say that is not "truly clueless."

    That, by definition, is negligent.

In any case, glad everything worked out.

Just Bc the bearing is shot doesn't mean it doesn't have a useable life left. If it was designed to go 80k miles...there is no possible way to know how much of the bearing is left. It's not like tires, or brake pads

He doesn't have to be. People are giving you advice...if you don't like it, don't take it.

That was in action last week. Is this your site? Are you a moderator? No, then I don't have to finish this sentence.

It's funny how everyone on this thread had a thought/advice. But no one offered to help

    The better coast

Since you never asked for advice....why did you post a thread? So we can see how dangerously you live?
