Do you air down for the short beach drives?

No not for short trips to check out the water. As the temps get cooler I don't really for fishing trips either. Summer sand is the softest. Driving on the beach not aired down takes patience, sometimes I feel myself bout to get stuck and wanna give it more gas but it's the opposite, ya need to lay off the gas. There's times I feel like an idiot cuz I'll hit a soft spot while driving slow and just crawl through when somebody can walk faster than I'm driving lol, but I don't actually get stuck and when I get the tires back on top the sand you can get back on the throttle.

I wish more local guys had buggy passes :tumbleweed:

Thanx Dude! This is the mount I have http://www.bayareametalfab.com/2nd-Gen-CB-Mount_p_16.html

I was able to get one of the last "old plastic" snorkels, they now have a "new plastic" but it's the same exact dimensions and size and cheaper. I actually held both in hand at the same time and the only visual difference is the finish. Got it from http://cruiseroutfitters.com

Here's some convo about the two snorkels from Cruiser Outfitters, and talk of a GB possible.

    Post pulled from here https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2005-2015-tacoma-safari-snorkel.350645/

So went out fishing the other day..

    Glam shot

...and as the sun set I decided get some night shots of my lights

    34C33EC0-FCCB-47FF-AD6D-A2ECD5D7EAF1_zps_81c6819a96a86c0857de1681685b93fef409fa48.jpg

Prior to this I fixed my light bar harness by cutting out the burnt up quick connect and direct connect and solder the wires. After doing so the light bar was functional again.

Rear lights from my Pelfreybilt bumper (@RigidIndustries flush mount reverse lights) and roof basket (Amazon specials)

Front roof bar and rear lights. The front bar is actually crazy bright, being parked at the inlet the light drops off the rocks and shines across the water. I was actually lighting up boats in the distance.

After getting a few pics I headed home. Driving out of the state park with my front roof bar on after about 30 minutes of it being on it just went out. I pulled over and found the fuse in the blue sea fuse box popped and melted, I've never seen a fuse melt before. I swapped out the 20amp fuse for a 25amp spare I had on me and the light bar was functioning once again. Haven't run the light bar for any long period since but will definitely need to keep a close eye on this..
