All, I'm looking for replacement lenses for my 2008 TRS Sport. I've read up that Depo's are a good replacement. I'm interested in finding a good replacement set that has the "tinting" inside instead of buying a factory type replacement. Does Depo make them with this dark tint?

Finally, how difficult is the replacement on these? I've heard the front bumper basically has to be partially removed to get to a lower mounting bolt?? If any has any directions on how to do this job, it would be appre4ciated.

    Thank you in advance!

I replaced the headlights on my 08 about a year ago. I didn't have to take my bumper off, just the grill. The lower bolt is a bitch to reach but does come off with the bumper in place. Only concern was not breaking the clips on the lower part of the grill. Took about an hour to replace both.

I replaced my headlights with the Depo brand from Amazon two years ago. Sealed them with silicone caulk when I first got them, and had to recaulk them a couple months ago when water started getting in. The light output compared to factory is crap, lots of scatter and the beam cutoff on both lights is crooked. The clearcoat has started to peel off and the bezel in the passenger side light is kinda loose, it moves a little when I shut my hood.

All that being said, I'm pretty happy with them for the price that I paid, ~120 shipped. No, they aren't OEM quality but I knew that going in and the light output is livable. If I had to do anything differently, I would have put Expel or some kind of protective film on them before installing to keep the clearcoat from peeling but at this point IDGAF. If these continue to go to crap or fall apart, I'll probably just buy another aftermarket replacement set. Either the Depo or the Ebay brand linked above would be okay replacements for OEM without spending a ton of money. Of course, YMMV.

Installation is pretty easy, just take your time and put painter's tape on the front of the headlights to keep from scratching them when installing if you've never done it before. Put some anti-seize on the bolt located up in the fender, in my experience it can get pretty rusted making it a PITA to remove later. Headlight removal how-to.

Here's a pic from a couple months ago...
