Probably just stick with mid travel due to all the weight and budget restraints, but some things need fixing/replacing. Shocks are tired, UCA's need to be upgraded, steering rack needs to be looked at, etc.

I have 2 complete axles on the shelf in my garage if you need to replace one? I want to keepbat least 1 though. I even have 2 new shafts as well.

Thanks for the offer. They're cheap to replace, so I'll just buy another one. The one I pulled in half was less than a year old, too. It got wrenched pretty hard to the side, and I can hear it making noises when flexed, so I'm going to just put another new one in there. I'll swap it out when I replace shocks and UCA's.

I have plenty of recovery gear should either of us need it. I did this trip this past Spring, very few really tough sections but six hours of it! Mix in some spectacular scenery and it is a fabulous trip.

Don't get too excited cause I'm sure your definition of really tough section is different from Bills.
If you want really challenging you need to go try Elvis. Open diffs stopped me my 2nd time out there.

Roger that. I'm not looking for "OMG I'm gonna blow my load" difficult for this trip as I don't have the suspension anywhere near where I want it. Simple challenges, great scenery, solid folks, whiskey, fire.... yeah, all that for sure. I can't wait.

Depending on the amount of alcohol consumed and the possibility of being ruphied, it may be that kind of trip. Struggle snuggles or surprise sex is big in this group.

Elvis is out before box canyon. Probably the only super technical trail that the Tacos can make it mostly through with the exception of the last obstacles. Up and over followed by the waterfall are only for short wheel base locked crawlers. Although Connor's friend made it up the waterfall in a fully locked supercharged runner with no real issues. Up and over is a high center nightmare.

Your guaranteed some kind of damage on this trail. In fact the 2 times I did it there was carnage. My 2nd time along with Josh we bent driveshafts on the first waterfall.

Don't know, this is my 1st large group camping with you guys. Plus Flakes won't be there so I'm not sure fireball shenanigans will be as fun.
