Looks like it would be a blast. Will petition the wife. And maybe go lonesome since I have a 6month old. Wouldn't want him out there just yet.. I haven't had a chance to go out wheeling in a long time!

Maybe I could get some help from you guys. I posted a thread about tire options.. Will be needing a new set, and if I plan to go on this run, you guys may be the right people to help me out. Here's the link

I'm in either way but would prefer the Saturday.

I'm also ditching my beginning teachers seminar for this, so I'm bringing an axe so I can say I properly took down my tree. Might be borrowing a chain saw from someone out there lol.

Hahaha I was a bit worried last year looking at the power tools. The trees you cut down have to be under a certain diameter (6" I think). Wasn't more than a few hits to take down my scraggly (but favorite ever) Charlie Brown tree...

My wife and I took our son on his first trip for last years Xmas tree run. He was 6 months then and it was his first of many wheeling trips and the start of an awesome Xmas tradition. I say bring him with!!

It'll really depend on the conditions. There's a graded dirt road that leads to the top of Hull MT. And if there's a bunch of snow on the ground, it'll be a challenge no matter what!

I wouldn't mind. It's going to be up to my wife, if she wants to. I think it'll be fun, and he'll be 7+ months by then. I'll use you as an example when I talk to her :)

    Thanks!

Elevated: it's a big family deal. There were probably 15+ kids last time. My daughter was 1 last year, 2 now. It's family friendly for sure!

Time for some shout outs to last years attendees...

Okay, confession time. To break up the trip and to make a weekend of this, we will be staying at a hotel about 15 miles from Middle Creek Campground on Saturday night. Just couldn't get the family to buy in to doing out and back from San Jose as a day trip.
:crapstorm: Please try to be gentle!
