Cooking for a girl...

and I need some ideas. I have a week to decide what to cook for her. She said that she really likes pasta so I was wondering if anybody on here had some good recipes. Thanks in advance

Manicotti.(sp?) Good and pretty easy, and not very common for most. But like Janster said, if you go out you have more time with her. But it has been my experience that women really love a man that can cook well.

 

Chicken Carbonara with panchetta and cinnamon. not figure friendly but so tasty,just made it last night

 

Cajun Chicken with Alfredo Sauce and pasta. Easy to make.

 

Spinach Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 tablespoon chopped pimento peppers
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a small bowl combine cheese and seasoning. Roll chicken pieces in cheese mixture to coat lightly. Set remaining cheese mixture aside. Arrange coated chicken pieces in an 8x8x2 inch baking dish.
In a small saucepan, saute green onion in butter/margarine until tender. Stir in flour, then add milk all at once. Simmer, stirring, until bubbly. Stir in drained spinach and pimiento and mix together. Spoon spinach mixture over chicken and sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture. Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes or until tender and chicken juices run clear.
Serving: 6

Grill something.

A good steak....salad......grilled vegetables......then either grilled shrimp or lobster tails.

When I cook for a woman....I work my magic on the GRILL!!!

It's how a man cooks!

Oooooooh, gralic bread!
I use mayo in mine & it's to die or kill for~
Cut the loaf long ways & lay on a cookie sheet.
softened butter & mayo 2/3 to 1/3 proportions. I guess overall it's about a cup.
Then add a couple of cloves of minced garlic, mix that, spread & add some parsley for looks. Maybe some fresh parmegan cheese. Broil on low till it browns. Keep it in the middle of the oven so it doesn't brown too fast.
The mix absorbes into the bread.
better do a full loaf for the 2 of ya!
