The recovery points on a stock Tacoma are low and under the front bumper which can be annoying when you're out on the trails and get stuck.

Here is a low cost, solid solution that retains an almost stock look, adds a tough image to the truck, uses all existing mounting locations and hardware that provides a better, stronger, smarter recovery solution.

All gussets and mounting plates are 1/4" thick CNC laser cut steel, tubing is 3" square x 3/16" wall, and shackle gussets are 3/4" thick CNC laser cut steel with a 1" hole for a d-ring.

Recovery Bars comes standard with the receiver and shackle points.

    Either one for $349 ???

... and are you having a Black Friday sale ?

... and I tried going to your website for a shipping quote to MA 02038, as I'm heading that way in January. Heck, I might even drive down to MD if it saves me that much more. Please let me know.

Oh... and has anyone installed these with an Avid light bar?

$299 for shackles alone, $349 for shackles and receiver. To MA is probably not a terrible price. I just sent one to MA for around $40. No way you can drive from MA to MD for $40 in fuel and tollz, then back. Haha

Sounds good. I'll PM when ready.

This will be a valuable addition to my work limo, just need to know if anyone has installed one with an Avid light bar. :spy:

If you get the receiver and shackles, a light bar does not fit, unfortunately. :(

This light bar mounts wrap under the front valance and bolts to the frame. Do you have pics of the install process of the recovery bar?

I'll send pics tomorrow of the full install so you see how it bolts up.

Just made a quick album of all the pics, with and without the bumper on so you can see how it bolts up.

I'm leaning more to this type of idea. I can remove the winch and install it easier than it being hidden.

I compared the mount points of the Avid light bar to your pics... and I'll need to have the shackle mounts extended out, but It'll fit!

    You'll be hearing from me!

    Thanks!
