    Good! Iv'e already purchased these UCA's and was having a hard time finding specific numbers and statements addressing extended travel instead of standard mid and long. Range of travel is more important to me than overall lift, so I'm excited to try these out on my own truck.

    My extended travel Icons limit the downtravel, not the ball joints.

    Good luck.

    The ball joint will not bind up w. the UCA, the geometry built into the arm allows for cleaner travel.

    @motoxscott

    So got mine alignmed today after going with OME 887's with 5100's up front for 3 inches of lift and putting an Icon 1.5 Progressive AAL in the rear with Icon 2.0 rear shocks. I used Camburg Ball Joint UCA's ( Brand New ) and my results I think suck for spending 600.00 on new arms that are supposed to be great for adding caster after lifting. Well my end result was 2.7 Caster on both sides. But my Camber is a positive 0.4 on the passenger side and 0.5 on the Drivers side which I am told will wear out my tires prematurely. The best Caster he could get at 0.0 Camber was 2.0 to 2.2 seriously probably could have just about got that with the stock garbage UCA's any insight will be greatly appreciated because Wednesday I am going back so he can set the Camber to 0.0 and have Caster at 2.0 to 2.2 Must say very disappointed in going with the 600.00 arms compared to the adjustable Light Racing UCA's for 375.00 and sadly I did nothing but praise these arms on here before installing them.

    Unchained 5150, what are your thoughts on the coils having ample time to settle out. In all fairness perhaps you should let the coils settle out a bit more before finalizing the numbers. In my personal experience new coils will come down some over time, how quickly will depend on use and driving habits/conditions. I know you don't do much offroading, but maybe hit some trails and smash on the front end a bit before realigning.

    Yeah you might actually be at 3.5" since the coils are new. Would not surprise me if they eventually settled to 3" or even 2.75". Once settled out then pay for the realignment and see where the numbers end up at, the tech should have mentioned this to you. That would be my recommendation. In my experience a 1/2" change in height after break-in is not uncommon at all.

    image.jpg image.jpg Got my ucas last week ,, went in smoothly only cut the passenger side bolt,, drivers side was a lot easier to just do a little prying pull the battery and move a power cable ,, quite happy with results,, am looking for different springs now however,, likely ome 855s,, compressed the 2016 spring with bossairshocks to get 3" and the ride is crazy rough since they went with beefier spring this time round ,,

    What were the changes made to allow for the moog joints? From what I have read the aftermarket joints have a larger diameter where they seat in the arm. I have the older arms that require stock ball joints and would like to be able to get a way from cruising the forum for used ball joints to replace mine when they wear out. Even if that means taking them to machine shop and having the cups opened up up.

    They are slightly larger than the stock ones. couple thou maybe.
    Id have to get you some numbers next week when Im back at the shop.

    You can literally open it up with a barrel sander if you were confident in doing that.
    The Moog ball joint is a little big bigger than a factory one so that the ball joint will press in and stay in after a stock one has been removed. That's the only difference.

    Thank you. I did some measurements when I first got the arms with some calipers and saw there wasn't much difference between after market and stock ball joints. And I would be fine doing it myself. Just would like to know what the new arms have for a measurement. Appreciate the help.

    I would like the measurement of the cup the ball joints seat into. It's the tightest spot on the control arm where the joint sits.
