Has anyone tried removing the rear headrests in a 2010 Tacoma Access Cab?

They do fold down but they do not fold down completely. I understand that for safety reasons they were installed but they cause a blind spot and are in the way even when folded down for luggage.

I'm not not sure when the Access Cab rear seats were redesigned but I sure like the ones in the 2005 and 2006 much better.

    Thanks

My '09 doesn't fold down like that. At least I don't think so. Mine are just the old push the button and slide them out style. I took mine out because of the blind spot and the fact that they mess with the kids' car seats.

This would be the better style headrests in the Double Cab that you have. This is discussing the Access Cab rear headrests which do not.

Do you remember how you were able to remove them? Mine are not the push button type like in the four doors

I have an 06' and I would be down to swap the entire rear seat set-up with you if you are in southern California.
