My buddy snapped a shock a week ago with Toytec spacers... To much pressure in the wrong places. Plus it rides like crap. Sell the lift and save your money for some coilovers.

ya know, most people don't find this site till after they've bought the spacer lift, and all the stuff that the manufacturers say probably make it seem like a good deal. cant blame him for not know all the ins and outs of spacers and why they blow after only being here for a couple of months.

While true in most cases, he's been here a few months and should have come to us before purchasing.

And in today's world with the internet. Everything is research research research. What a shame I am sorry he is probably upset or anything. But seriously a spacer lift? Should just get these instead.

Funny thing is you could really install a piece of wood and a hockey puck.... It would work with longer bolts.

I bought the god damn thing from a dealer. Does ready lift only do spacers or do they also make suspension lifts?!

eh dealers suck. they get the money from the lift you just bought, then more money when you break a shock from the lift you bought from them. I don't like dealers.

I've had a spacer before back when I could barely afford to do anything to my truck. Probably ran it for 10-15k miles and it wasn't rough riding and I never snapped a shock or anything. Only reason I dumped it is because I saved up enough to get Maxtrac spindles IIRC.

If you barely go offroad and just want for looks OP, spacers aren't bad for that.

..But if you plan to offroad any/major, definitely upgrade to new coilovers.

Sorry, brotherman. Any way to get your money back? We'd be happy to steer you towards a lift that's worth your money.

They and Rough Country make spacers....and ready lift is the better of the two. But still not great. :(
