That thing must whistle like a banshee at highway speeds. Looks intimidating though

Yup. I'm in sales covering 5 states...probably 90% were highway miles. I wonder if the A/T's will hold up as well as the H/T's did...

I read that someone used a rag to wedge between two pieces. They said it worked and no more noise.... I believe my parents are buying a hi-lift for me. Should have it friday aka. Xmas.... Will probably be playing with mine to keep the noise down....

 

I am assuming that's a trifold style cover? I like the set up. Would you be willing to share some pics of how its mounted? I used to have a Yakima basket behind my truck that I had to stop using due to the trifold bed cover. Would love to find a way of putting the basket back on

 

This is a rolling cover. The cover is a LOW PRO QT and it has 3 cross bars that sit on the mount rails. I can fully roll it up at the moment but i might do a Version 2 in the spring here. I would be willing to share how its done as well as maybe starting to build the V.2 for people who dont have access to welders and stuff. I want to make it removable without having to pull the spacers and there is adjustment that has to be done to the cover to make it seal.
Thinking about the Trifold that your using then you might like the v.2 idea.

Until I get pictures, check the bottom of your trifold to see how it is mounted and send me a picture. I will probably start a thread so its not in here. I like sharing info for people.

 

Yeah that was recommended to me before. Trying to find another way to deal with it. If rather not have a damp rag stuck in there all the time. It's winter here...

I think it's bouncing off the bed wall. Might have to change how the brackets are so perhaps. Not sure yet. It's 7F outside so I'm not planning to mess with it right now. LoL

 

I would totally buy something from you too. I know nothing about welding. Lol

Maybe try sticking one of these to the bed: The adhesive is pretty good. I'm using them on my side steps. Easy to cut, too.

You could also try the hardware store plumbing dept. see if they have the foam tubing used for insulating pipes, might have a size that would fit the tube handle...
