Not really. I have just under 3 inches of lift on mine. 80k+ miles with a lift without to many issues. I did replace my Driver side diff bearing with the ECGS bushing to get rid of some vibrations (after 60k miles), and I just replaced my passenger side CV axle (after 80k miles) due to the inside boot breaking around the clamp on the axle.

FYI you can't run the diff drop with aftermarket skid plates. If you stay just under 3 inches or lift you will be fine

no problem! I was going to put the drop in when I first did the lift but couldnt get the damn bolts to break free so i said f**k it and just let it be. Did some more research on it and found that the drop could potentially cause more issues if you aren't careful

try to google search tacoma diff drop issues or problems... I can't quite remember where the thread was, I'll try to find it myself though and link it in... Basically the big issue is it rotates the diff down which yes helps your CV angles but now could cause an issue on your drive shaft angle, and also since it lowers the diff now puts it in harms way of rocks and things that will catch on it and you'll nuke the diff... Want to say another potential is oil starvation to some of the bearings... Give me a few mins and I'll see if I can find a few links for you

No problem. I'm not to familiar with the Bilstein settings and lift height so make sure its the right height. I have mine set up to keep kind of the factory rake. But with 250-300 pounds in the rear the truck sits level which is how I like it. I have adjustable coil overs in the front so makes my life easier to fine tune things. 3 inch in the front and 2 in the back should keep it level, a 1.5 in the rear would keep the factory rake

Just ordered my 5100's  see how it goes with the stock springs they have 130,000 on them, thinking .85 setting should level it back out... Hopefully. Lol

Good luck with the stock coils they might be a little whoopee with 130,000 on them. Give them a good coat of paint on them before install if you can
