    Get the grease off them!!! No greasing those, now your brushes need cleaning as well!! There's your problem. The commutator bars and brushes must be clean. They make direct contact with the brushes and the brushes are lead and graphite, they self lubricate.

    What was wrong with the new ballasts you had that came with your retrofits? @LS15 would of sent you brand new ballasts in the first place.

    The ballast I got were brand new but were pretty cheap. The passanger HID would stay on for a min or two then turn off. At the time I didn't have the money and the person that made them gave me a great price for a used set.

    That is a bit strange you may have a weird contact somewhere else but either way there shouldn't be grease on that part. May be time to bust out the test light and probe the connector for the locker motor to make sure there isn't a broken wire or loose connector for the locker circuit.

    Can you hear the motor struggling to go back to the lock position of is it straight up dead?

    How am I gone every time you go wheeling? I saw @Greddy today rolling around Renton but I wasn't in the Taco so he probably thought I was just a weirdo oogling his truck.

    Good luck, at the very least you can manually actuate it to locked and bolt the thing back in. Or you could find a machine shop and have them make you a plate and lever system to actuate the locker by lever and cable (that'd be pretty cool).

    Yeah locked ain't the greatest for just driving around in snow. Great for snownuts tho. I hope the pass is clear when I go over on Sunday.

    Dude, I had a set of 4 and I returned them. 9 bucks a piece...I can check for u and ship?

    I also have 3 used one's if your interested. I bought lca's from @bayareataco. Turns out I don't need them. They have some cool wheelers bumpstops too. I was thinking of taking the bumpstops off and keeping them. Lbj's are mine though :)

    Not really, I mean they are paying out the ass for my rental right now so it would be worth it for them to get it done sooner rather than later.

    I'll double check with the tech to see what they are waiting on.

    Morning. I am hoping someone here can help me out.
    I am looking for someone who has an abs housingin the rear but NOT ABS brakes.
    Looking to get some pics of the axle flange where the 4 bolts at the flange connect to the backplate/braking system.
    Specifically the Bung or the thicker portion of an abs "housing".

    TG or Low range didnt believe me when I said I had a housing that was non abs. Had to send pics.

    I guess basically What I am asking is if anyone here has done the TG 4340 axle shaft conversion with NON abs housings or ABS axle shafts?
